Accessibility statement

We want every profile to be readable by everyone. This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA.

What we do

• Every image carries descriptive alt text. Decorative duplicates of a cover image are hidden from screen readers.
• Body text is 18 px with 1.65 line height in a 680 px reading column, and colour contrast meets AA on all text.
• One H1 per page, headings in order, landmarks for header, navigation, main and footer, and a "Skip to main content" link.
• All controls work with a keyboard, including the menu drawer, filters and share buttons. Focus is visible.
• No content is fixed to the bottom of the screen and nothing auto-plays. Animations respect the reduced-motion setting.
• Icon-only links carry labels, and every social icon is announced with the platform name.

Known limitations

Embedded video and audio players are provided by third parties and may not meet the same standard. Where we can, we link to a transcript or the original post.
