Editorial independence and how we label paid work.

Reader trust is the only asset this publication has. These are the rules that protect it.

Editorial features

Editorial profiles, interviews and stories are selected by our editors on the basis of interest to readers. They are not sold, and positive coverage cannot be bought. Creators featured editorially pay nothing and are not asked to.

Sponsored content

Paid features, series and newsletter placements are labelled "Sponsored" at the top of the page, in social posts and in the newsletter. Sponsored content is produced to the same standards of accuracy and is never disguised as editorial. Paid relationships are disclosed; none are hidden from readers.

The creator's role

Creators we profile answer a written questionnaire in their own words and may check factual details before publication. They do not have editorial control, and we do not change the meaning of what they tell us. We keep the original questionnaire, answers and permissions on file for every published story.

Images

Photographs are used with documented permission from the creator or licence holder and are credited on the page.

Numbers and claims

Audience figures shown on the site carry the date they were observed. We do not fabricate awards, rankings, traffic numbers or audience claims, and we do not publish "top" lists presented as objective rankings.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and note the correction on the story. Report an error via the corrections form or hello@thecreatorimprint.com.

Affiliate links

We do not currently use affiliate links. If that changes, affiliate links will be disclosed on the page where they appear.
